RE: Obvious Problems with the Masoretic Text

OK, I can deal with that. An on line Bible is a good thing!
I didn't like the reference link for "Jehovah" though. It followed the same tripe as WT. You should know that the word JEHOVAH is not Hebrew or Greek, but Latin. It has been made into a proper name by modern convention, as a substitute for YHWH. YHWH was never ment to be a proper name either. God gave it to Moses as a description of what he is, not as a proper name THAT HE SHOULD BE CALLED BY. BTW, the Hebrew word we translate as "name" actually means "character".
I like your translation so far, and will use it.

We have discussed the reason for our use of the name in the link Jehovah

"Our minds don't control our beliefs, our beliefs control our minds."
"A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking."
"Buying into someone's religious, philosophical, or political teachings is the point where you've decided to allow them to do your thinking for you."

Who's we?
I don't have a problem with using it. It's just not what they say it is. The definition, "He who causes to become", is a WT definition made to look like a literal translation from another language, which its not. It is just poor English. The most accurate translation of the Hebrew YHWH into modern English is, "I will be whatever I will be" or "he is what ever he wants to be".
