I found today's Bible reading to be very touching :heartbeat:

Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives :heartbeat:

''Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him.'' Luke 22:39

''On reaching the place, he said to them: ''Pray that you
will not fall into temptation.'' (40)

''He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and
prayed, (41) ''Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me;
yet not my will, but yours be done.'' (42)

''An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.'' (43)

''And being in anguish, he prayed more ernestly, and his sweat
was like drops falling to the ground.'' (44)

''When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he
found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.'' (45)

''Why are you sleeping?'' he asked them. ''Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.'' (46)

When Jesus was under this tremendous pressure he turned to
his Father for comfort and strength--and GOd provided for him
in this most difficult moment--

It is also a testimony to the importance and the power of real prayer
and how it is a must to withstand trail and to defeat temptation--
nothing we would ever want to take for granted :heartbeat:

''They returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch,
strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain
true to the faith. We must go through many hardships to enter
the Kingdom of God, they said'' Acts 14: 22,23

''He is strong and can help you not to fall.
He can bring you before his glory without any
wrong in you and can give you great joy.'' Jude 24 :heartbeat:

Have a wonderful evening friends--still raining and thundering here
here at the top of the world...things are pretty juicy :heartbeat:
and green--don't forget Green ... :heartbeat:

''In the midst of winter I finally learned that in me there was an invincible summer.'' Albert Camus

''live simply, speak kindly, love unconditionally''
